She is Goodness

In shorts and smiles,

Blowing hair and dancing legs,

You run freely in the grass.

Laughter floats like bubbles in the air toward me;

Life hasn’t killed you yet.

Still sunny and golden,

You grin for the camera.

Your fingers ask for peace,

While aviators shade your eyes.

You are everything I envy.

Your life will be good; I know it.

Full of goodness and good fortune.

Pain will never touch you,

only goodness and good people.

You will do good in the world,

acts of goodness and only goodness.
